New Covenant Chrysalis

Students are eligible to attend the upcoming flight if they are in the 8th-12th grade. To attend, you must:

• Be sponsored by someone who has attended an approved 3-day weekend event
• Fill out the Chrysalis Application
• Send a completed application to the treasurer

Only those who have attended an approved 3-day weekend may be a sponsor.
Please remember that sponsoring a participant has many requirements:

• Guaranteeing that your participant is eligible to attend
• Providing transportation both to and from the location at the appropriate time
• Being present at all community portions during the weekend
• Gathering the letters to bring to the weekend
• Praying fervently all weekend for his/her spiritual growth

If you are comfortable with all of these, please have your participant complete the application and mail the form and $30 deposit to the registrar.

To serve on a weekend flight, you need to satisfy the following requirements:

• Attend an approved 3-day weekend
• Fill out and submit a volunteer application form
• (Clergy only) Complete the spiritual director application in addition to the form above

Those who wish to serve will be required to attend team meetings prior to the flight for training.

The New Covenant Chrysalis Community is located in Madison, AL and has members all over northern Alabama and southern Tennessee. We currently hold flights twice a year.

We are affiliated with New Covenant Emmaus and work to incorporate members of both communities in service.
